Restaurant, one of Kampala’s most celebrated fine-dining destinations, hosted an exclusive multi-cuisine brunch on Sunday that treated guests to a rich fusion of global flavours, vibrant music, and elegant ambience.
The October edition of the Baoli brunch drew Kampala’s cosmopolitan crowd to an afternoon of sophistication and indulgence, featuring delicately crafted dishes, signature cocktails, and live DJ sets that carried the event from midday relaxation to evening celebration.
From the moment guests arrived, Baoli’s sunlit interiors set a tone of understated luxury. Sunlight reflected off marble surfaces as soft music and conversation blended into a serene backdrop for the culinary showcase.
The brunch menu offered a world tour of tastes — from Japanese sushi and Italian tagliatelle alla bolognese to Indian fish masala curry and Ugandan classics like Victoria Nile perch and grilled tilapia.
Starters such as avocado caprese, coconut prawns, and calamari preceded desserts including the French Niçoise salad and Thai beef salad.
Signature cocktails were paired with the dishes, each combination curated to enhance the sensory experience.
Music was at the heart of the afternoon, with performances by Sheila Gashumba, alias DJ Lil Stunner, The City Girl UG, and DJ Anslem, who kept the energy flowing with a blend of classics, Afrobeats, and dancehall rhythms that turned the brunch into a lively evening affair.
Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager for Tequila and Rum East Africa, praised the collaboration between Don Julio and Baoli, noting that it celebrated the art of premium experiences.
“We are proud to partner with Baoli, one of the premium celebration points in Kampala,” Nandekya said.
“Don Julio is about craftsmanship, heritage, and celebration, and this brunch allowed us to bring that to life — where every detail mattered. Guests didn’t just drink; they experienced what luxury tequila truly means.”
Baoli General Manager, Sandeep Bugatha, said the monthly brunches were designed to help guests unwind and close the month in style.
“Thanks to our partnership with Don Julio Tequila, we’ve been able to create an unforgettable experience for our customers — a perfect way to bid farewell to the month of October,” Bugatha said.
As the sun dipped below the terrace, laughter and rhythmic beats filled the evening air, leaving guests immersed in the spirit of refined indulgence that defines the Baoli experience.
